This consortium brings together an international and transdisciplinary network of scholars and practitioners to reframe generative design (GD) as a knowledge system in the age of AI. While grounded in design, this initiative includes generative systems across biology, artificial intelligence, education, and engineering—recognizing shared logics and methodological synergies.

Supported by the University of Calgary's Transdisciplinary Connector Grant, the initiative consists of a multi-stage process culminating in a public exhibition and a scholarly publication.
